The new spray dryer handles a variety of dairy based products including Whey Permeate, Buttermilk, Whey, Whole Milk and Skimmed Milk.
The whole plant, which included a spray dryer, wet mix feed system, CIP system, vibratory fluid bed, permeate holding belt, pneumatic conveying, bulk powder storage and automated packing line, was designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned over an 18 month period.
The equipment installed was finished to a very high quality and delivered excellent performance.

Please be advised that European Spray Dry Technologies (ESDT) has successfully completed the installation and commissioning of three spray dry plants consisting of two new bespoke spray dry plants and the refurbishment of an existing plant for increased throughput.
The plants were designed specifically for the products we manufacture and arranged to suit the limited space available, which was quite challenging. I am very pleased with the overall installation and functionality of the plants.
ESDT is currently designing two new bespoke spray dry plants for another Synergy facility as well as working on pricing for an additional plant with greater throughput at our new facility. Needless to say, we are very pleased with ESDT and would highly recommend them for your application.
We have been working with ESDT for the past four years and they have expertly supported our spray dryer requirements through each stage of our company growth.
Starting with our initial purchase of a laboratory scale spray dryer. Since then we have purchased a model ESDT15 pilot scale spray dryer before purchasing and recently commissioning a 100kg/hr water evaporation capacity production spray dryer.
We are currently in final negotiations with ESDT for a new 200kg/hr water evaporation spray dryer and fully expect to place an order for this plant within the next few weeks.
